JUSTINE VELASQUEZ is currently working as a Senior Landscape Designer in an international company in Hong Kong aside from pursuing a part-time career as an artist. He has been creating art since childhood and even used his talent to earn some money when he was in secondary school and accepted projects in poster.
design, editorial cartooning and mural painting. His passion for painting stopped when he entered the corporate world. But he began to revive his passion for art to relieve his stress. He discovered the fluid art form and he progressed into resin painting and now predominantly works with epoxy resin. His fearless approach is unorthodox and audacious, rarely using an easel or a brush.
The artist finds a relaxing way to relieve stress by viewing the sea and has found in the most inspiring and rewarding way to express its meaning and value in his canvas. Most of his works involved flow art technique naturally and controlled. His background in landscape architecture reflects in his works from landscape and seascape scenes, abstract figurative forms, and topography. He has participated in numerous exhibitions in Philippines, Hong Kong, Singapore, Netherland, Switzerland and United Kingdom.
